Air quality guard LGW-13: Intelligent CO2 warning device

The intelligent air quality guard is either operated with a 24 V power supply or surface-mounted on the wall. It features innovative display, protection and switching functions in air quality assessment, which makes this compact and lightweight device unique in its flexibility of application and use. Selectable measuring ranges up to 20,000 ppm are also an advantageous factor.

CO₂ sensor and CO₂ switch

The measuring principle of the highly sensitive integrated CO₂ sensor is based on 'NDIR' (non-dispersive infrared absorption measurement), an optical measuring principle with a very high accuracy.

The air quality guard LGW-13 also comes with a 4...20 mA and 0...10 V signal output, which makes it suitable for use as a precise CO₂ sensor. Due to its potential-free switching output, the air quality guard is perfectly suitable as a control and switching device for all common 24 V fans, as well as electric window openers. This fact makes the LGW-13 an automated CO₂ ventilation control.

Air quality traffic light, CO₂ monitor and carbon dioxide signal device

The compact CO₂ measuring device acts as an air quality traffic light to visualise the prevailing quality of the room air (CO₂ concentration) at any time via the 10-digit LED display.

Besides the simple visual way of assessing the indoor air quality via the LED display, the device also offers other attractive functions.

Dimensions of the LGW 13

The LGW-13 can be used to prevent an excessive CO₂ concentration in any kind of room, as it is a CO₂ warning device with an integrated acoustic signal output which, in turn, is triggered when the CO₂ concentration reaches the factory-set limit value. If the CO₂ concentration drops, the alarm automatically stops. A yellow LED indicates the CO₂ relay output when it is activated. Another separate LED in the ventilation slots monitors the general functionality of the CO₂ sensor and lights up when it is connected to the power supply (24 V DC). The CO₂ sensors error status is indicated if this LED turns off.
